Iranian political commentator and journalist Mahyar Tousi joins The Winston Marshall Show as the seemingly 12-day Israel-Iran war appears to have concluded. Tousi provides a sharp analysis of the current situation within Iran, amidst growing internal unrest, economic collapse, and a regime intensifying its regional chaos to divert attention from its domestic failures. He elucidates how the Islamic Republic is facing domestic losses. We explore the possibility of the regime’s collapse and the sentiments of the Iranian civilian population. Furthermore, Tousi recounts his personal story, including his father’s arrest in Iran and the fatwa issued against him. These factors, along with the escalating Middle East situation, the closure of 50,000 mosques in Iran, British denialism, and the urgent need for moral and strategic clarity in a perilous world, are the subject of this discussion.
