“I take the title of journalist serious and the reason is because in any democracy you need a media to hold people accountable absolutely without a media then the people in power get to tell their own story or if the people in power own the media you know like in some countries we'll see the state ow”

“once you stop believing that journalists are unbiased understand the spectrum of media bias and be a responsible consumer it'll work itself out”

“transparency is what the resistance looks like, I think, is trying to disclose these things because they feel like it should be public in the first place.”

Journalists today have more freedom to be themselves and pursue passion projects rather than adhering to rigid, traditional broadcasting standards.

“So you don't have to go to a small market and and be selected by the news director. So you could do it too if you just are yourself or unique or you find something that you love.”

Journalists have a constitutional right to film protests as part of their professional role in holding power accountable.
