This week's guest is Caitlin Reilly-- a comedic social media phenomenon! If you’ve ever scrolled through TikTok or instagram you’ve probably come across her viral videos of incredibly accurate characters. She takes a seat to answer all the hard hitting questions… like can we still address a group of people as “Guys”?, abortions, and navigating a very explosive cancel culture when you’re a comedian.  Rick enquires about the world of TikTok & Instagram and how they became her main platforms and income revenues. Caitlin and Rick get into a disagreement about social interactions and niceties and what is the best approach without triggering imposter syndrome.  Caitlin divulges her struggles working with advertisers, auditioning for drama school, and she recites a perfect millennial Shakespeare monologue.  Rick delicately broaches the subject of Caitlin’s father's (Actor John Reilly) recent passing, how the effects of the pandemic kept her from seeing him whilst he was in a care facility, and she recounts what it was like filming the "General Hospital" memorial episode dedicated to him shortly afterward.  This episode is full of laughs, cries, farts, and dramatic reenactments… what more could you want! And if you love TYSO as much as Rick loves Helix, you’ll help out by using our promo codes from our very cool sponsors:  HELIX SLEEP: Helix is offering up to 200 dollars off all mattress orders AND two free pillows for our listeners at http://www.helix.com/tyso  RAYCON: Right now, TYSO listeners can get 15% off their Raycon order at http://buyraycon.com/tyso   GREENCHEF: Go to http://greenchef.com/tyso100 and use code tyso100 to get $100 off including free shipping!
