He calls this part of a broader delusional mindset spreading through global politics, then turns to Ukraine as another example. Volodymyr Zelensky is portrayed as hypocritical for condemning Russian strikes on Ukraine’s energy grid while ignoring the broader geopolitical realities. The speaker says Russia’s campaign to destroy Ukraine’s energy infrastructure signals that the war is entering its final stage—Moscow is “finishing off” Ukraine much as the Allies did Germany in WWII by cutting off fuel. More importantly, he claims Russia has permanently reoriented its energy exports away from Europe toward Asia and will never restore those flows, leaving Europe weakened and dependent on overpriced U.S. energy. He then critiques Western figures like General Jack Keane, who call for even harsher measures against Russia, as being in denial about three years of failed policy. The speaker says such hawkish thinking ignores economic realities—India and other nations will keep buying Russian energy because it serves their national interests, not Washington’s. Militarily, he warns the West cannot sustain a large war with Russia: industry is depleted, manpower is lacking, and escalation (e.g., long-range missiles or conscription of Ukrainians in Europe) would risk direct war with Moscow. The conversation concludes by accusing figures like Keane—and U.S. defense contractors—of profiting from endless conflict and propaganda, comparing today’s “influencer generals” to Vietnam-era leaders who repeated false optimism. The “uniparty,” he says, rewards only those who echo establishment war narratives while silencing dissenting voices.
