In this Mashup episode, I share something that changed my life forever—and it’s not talked about nearly enough. I walk you through the real reason so many people never reach their dreams: they’ve never touched them. I’m not talking about vague visualization. I mean putting yourself in the room, the environment, the experience—physically and mentally—so often that your belief catches up to your ambition. I share my early days of scraping together money to stay one night at the Ritz-Carlton, why proximity is power, and how simply walking around dream neighborhoods shifted everything in my identity. I break down the difference between dreaming and believing, and why your mind will not let you live a life it doesn't think you belong in. This episode is about practical steps—things you can do this week, no matter your budget—to physically or mentally "touch" the life you want, over and over again. Because the more familiar it becomes, the more inevitable it feels. I also take on one of the biggest lies being sold to young people today: that there’s no rush. I share why that’s garbage advice, how urgency changed my trajectory in my 20s, and how young people—and their parents—can position themselves for serious growth. I lay out the mindset and practices I used to grow my confidence, leadership, and sense of self-worth when I had nothing but a dream and a car that barely made it to the valet. Finally, I tackle the real danger of haters—but not in the way you think. Most people aren't losing to their critics. They're losing to the time, energy, and emotion wasted trying to get approval. I teach you how to separate feedback from hate, concern from sabotage, and how to know whose voice actually matters.  Key Takeaways: - Why touching your dream—even for one day—can rewire your belief system - How to use environmental triggers to think and plan bigger - The difference between real suffering and false emotional suffering - A practical framework to build confidence by keeping promises to yourself - How to discern between haters, critics, and concerned voices—and what to do with each - The truth about age and ambition—and why starting now is always the best time - Why vision and leadership are the core to igniting anyone’s dream, including your own This one’s personal. I walk you step by step through how I went from dreaming about oceanfront homes to waking up to the sound of waves. I’ve lived this. I know what it feels like to be on the outside of your dreams, and I know how to break through. This episode is your manual. It’s time to stop waiting. It’s time to start touching the life you’ve always wanted.
