Minutes after Judge Sullivan declared a mistrial, Kevin Reddington walked out to a wall of cameras and delivered the most combative press conference of the Lindsay Clancy case - accusing DA Tim Cruz of being "crushed," of having no case, and of standing up to speak for Cora, Dawson and Callen while having to look down at a piece of paper to read their names. He thanked "these jurors minus one," said the eleven who voted to find Clancy not criminally responsible were robbed by a single man who acknowledged reasonable doubt and still refused to apply the law, dismissed the prosecution's expert witnesses as "hired water pistols," and answered a question about what he'd do differently in a second trial with "Why would I? I won the case." He also laid out what his team is building toward - a double jeopardy argument from appellate attorney Dana Goldblatt, a fall trial date, the same three defense experts, and a demand that Cruz revisit whether he can prove the case at all.
