Brian Walshe is accused of killing his wife, Ana, on New Year's Day 2023. He's pleaded guilty to dismembering her body and misleading police, but is fighting a first degree murder charge...and the question now is whether or not there is proof of premeditation. The state is showing jurors evidence around the time Brian Walshe allegedly killed his wife but his defense, however, denies that he killed her. They say Ana experienced a "sudden unexplained death" in bed after a New Year's Eve celebration. On Wednesday, testimony turned to law enforcement's searches of discarded trash bags and the Walshe couple's life insurance.
