Blanca Simpson tried to tell SLED what she noticed inside the Murdaugh home after the murders. An investigator on the case allegedly told her she was obsessing and needed to get professional help. She stopped talking after that. This is a woman who spent fifteen years inside that household, knew every routine, every vehicle, every detail of how that family operated — and when she brought observations to the people investigating the case, they allegedly shut her down. In this segment of her interview with Tony Brueski, Blanca walks through what she saw on the day of the murders and what she found when she entered the house twelve hours later. A white Ford F-150 parked at Moselle that she assumed was Paul’s — except Paul’s truck was in the shop. A tractor with a front-end bucket heading toward the back fields. Maggie’s pajamas laid out in the laundry room doorway with underclothes Maggie never wore to bed. Pots moved into the refrigerator with lids on — something neither Maggie nor Alex would ever do. One of Maggie’s three wedding bands found under the driver’s seat of her Mercedes. And a beach towel from the laundry room that ended up in Alex’s Suburban. Then Alex came to Blanca pacing, disheveled, rubbing his stomach, and asked her to confirm he’d been wearing a specific Vineyard Vines shirt that day. She knew he wasn’t wearing it. She didn’t say anything. She didn’t know he’d just returned from a SLED interview. Blanca isn’t a detective. But she knew that house, she knew that family, and piece by piece, the picture she saw didn’t match the official narrative. A Hidden Killers investigation.
