Sean Strickland is fed up with UFC fighter pay, and Brendan Schaub is backing him. On Big Brown Breakdown Live Chat Ep. 35, Brendan compares UFC fighter compensation with MLB, NFL, and NBA salaries, and makes the case that Conor McGregor is the most underpaid athlete in professional sports history, even after his massive paydays. We get into Dana White and Zuffa Boxing, Conor Benn’s payday, the UFC’s valuation, and whether a fighter holdout could force real change. Brendan also explains why he believes champions aren’t paid enough to retire on their own terms, leaving them chasing another payday at the expense of their health and legacy. Plus, live member questions on Josh Hokit vs. Ciryl Gane, Bo Nickal and Joe Pyfer, Payton Talbott’s next move, Michael Morales, Sean Sharaf’s future, and this weekend’s fight picks.
