A heartbreaking and shocking case in South Carolina. A four-year-old boy, Isaiah Joseph Dionne, was found dead at his home in Oconee County after being severely malnourished, weighing just 21 pounds and showing visible signs of starvation. The investigation uncovered alarming details: the child had been forced to drink water from a toilet, and slept in a closet while living under brutal conditions. Two people have been charged: his mother, Destiny Shay Dionne, and his step-father, Joshua Emanuel Lamar Latimer. Shockingly, Latimer is a (now former) trooper with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
