There are now 2 sequels to this film: 'Facing Shadows with Zen Master Doshin Roshi' https://youtu.be/NlDs4BtEe0w and 'Back Once Again with the Renegade Zen Master' in which Doshin reflects on the success of this film and the polarised reactions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7D8AgONcGMo Doshin Nelson Roshi describes himself as poet, troublemaker, and teacher. He is the head abbot of Integral Zen - an expert in both the tradition of Zen and the Integral philosophy of Ken Wilber. https://integralzen.org/about/teachers/ In this discussion with David Fuller of Rebel Wisdom, they explore the cultural phenomenon of Jordan Peterson and what his runaway success says about the intense times we are living in - and try to identify the cultural forces moving below the surface, and the necessity to integrate the shadow. Rebel Wisdom is a new media channel making films about the biggest ideas - the spearhead of a new counterculture.
