Ohio v Caleb Flynn Miami County, Ohio Judge Jeannine Pratt CALEB FLYNN SUMMARY: Tipp City, Ohio Music Pastor Caleb Flynn, 40, is facing M*rder charges in the 2/16/26 death of his wife of 15 years, Ashley, 37, a beloved substitute teacher & 7th grade volleyball coach, while their 2 young daughters were asleep in the next room. Ashley was in bed & sh0t twice in the head, and law enforcement alleges the scene was staged to look like a home invasion. Caleb was the one who called 911 at 2:30 am, alleging that he was in the girls’ room when his wife was m*rdered by an intruder. Caleb Flynn appeared briefly on the television show “American Idol” season 12 in 2013. Flynn faces several charges, including aggravated murder, two counts of felonious assault, three counts of tampering with evidence and two misdemeanor counts of intimidation of an attorney, victim or witness in a criminal case. A jury of six men and six women with four alternates was selected in only one day. In the Prosecution's Opening it was revealed that Caleb had been having an affair for years, and in the year before Ashley's death the pair exchanged 100,000 messages- some in which Caleb expressed his desire to k!ll his wife (!) and the m*rder weapon has never been recovered, although there was a .22 missing from the center console of Caleb's truck.
