Will Drake Deliver Another Classic Album with Certified Lover Boy? Drake has confirmed that his sixth studio album Certified Lover Boy will be released in January of 2021. After receiving mixed reception on 2018’s Scorpion, it seems like Drake is under pressure to deliver a quality album. In August of 2020, Drake dropped the amazing single Laugh Now Cry Later and in October he released a teaser trailer to the upcoming Certified Lover Boy album. In the trailer Drake pays homage and re-creates his old album covers which has made fans believe that he might return to his old sound and drop a classic album. Drake has put effort into making this album an event. From the cinematic visuals on the Laugh Now Cry Later video to the pre-hype he built by releasing 2020’s Dark Lane Demo Tapes which boosted hits like Toosie Slide & Chicago Freestyle. Drake also recently launched NOCTA which is his new clothing brand in collaboration with Nike.
