Welcome back to another episode of #GetSome I'm thrilled to be joined by the one and only Nate Jackson! We dive into the vibrant differences between Seattle and Tacoma, especially when it comes to the basketball scene. Nate shares highlights from his impressive career, and we reminisce about our unforgettable time at the Humor and Harmony Show at Shreveport. We also chat about Matt Rife's incredible rise in the comedy world and how his smart use of TikTok help pave his career into selling tickets. We take a detour to the city of Schaumburg for a cool story from one of Nate's performances, before tackling everything comedy—from legends like Dave Chappelle to powerhouses like Sommore and Lavell Crawford, plus other comics too. I also share a bit about meeting Eddie Murphy and being on set for Daddy Day Care, and we wrap up with a discussion on why burning bridges on social media is always a bad idea. ................................................................... #GetSome is a weekly podcast hosted by comedian and actor Gary Owen. Each Get Some episode Gary Owen serves up a hefty dose of ADHD, barbershop-style storytelling focused on his most recent experiences on the road as a stand-up comedian. Gary Owen is sometimes joined by special celebrity guests to discuss the latest in popular culture, sports, and live entertainment. 1:15-3:27 Schedule 3:28-5:43 Seattle v.
