Aravind Srinivas is the co-founder and CEO of Perplexity AI, the world’s first generally available conversation answer engine. Founded in August 2022 with Johnny Ho, Andy Konwinski, and Denis Yarats, Perplexity delivers accurate, sourced answers to any question. Born and raised in Chennai, India, Srinivas moved to the U.S. in 2017 and earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, where he also taught a course in Deep Unsupervised Learning.
