A Nolan Wells grand jury of 23 Jackson County citizens returned a unanimous no true bill on September 21, 2026. Then the district attorney said something the public never heard: before the panel sat, the Wells family's own legal team told her office they had no evidence a crime was committed. That same summer, a University of Wyoming punter who played beside Nolan at Ocean Springs High got a credible death threat. A chancery judge got a bomb threat because her son rode on a boat. Three strangers in three states now face federal charges. Al Sharpton told critics to "sue me first." In 1988 he told a New York prosecutor "if I'm lying, sue us," and a jury found him liable for seven defamatory statements. Tony Brueski puts Mississippi's real record, from Rasheem Carter to the Goon Squad, next to what the grand jury actually found, and names what was done to Nolan's friends in Nolan's name.
