Brand new episode with England's professional referee Anthony Taylor ⚽️👏 Anthony has refereed over 400 games in his career, including the #PremierLeague and #Fifa refereeing European and international matches ⚽️ He is also the first man to referee a second FA Cup final since 1901 🤯 Referees are notoriously disliked in the world of football, as their decisions cannot please both teams - resulting in referees having a lot of hate speech and threats directed at them from football fans, forgetting that referees are human too. The world of football has allowed placing blame for a team's loss on the referee, instead of on the actual players for far too long 🙅 Anthony speaks to Jake and Damian about what it takes to be a referee of the biggest football games in the world and "being human" 🙌 Let us know what you think in the comments below 👇 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You can still get your hands on signed copies of our new book, High Performance: Lessons from the best on becoming your best, right here: https://bit.ly/3xQwAsL ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About: The High Performance Podcast offers an intimate glimpse into the lives of high-achieving, successful individuals.
