David Zweig believes that locking children out of schools was a harmful intervention that lacked adequate scientific justification.

“Why are my kids and 50 million other children in America um locked out of their school buildings when kids are starting to go back in Europe? Um so all these were to me very interesting and incredibly important questions that I didn't seem to be getting um adequate answers to anywhere else.”
