Brian Tyler Cohen asserts that ICE is an agency that has been used to murder an innocent woman.

“if she has the opportunity to launder their excuse to try and justify an ICE agent's murder of an innocent woman, clearly she's going to do it.”

ICE agents perform an essential legal function and are not equivalent to the historical SS.

“The members of ICE are not the Sturmabteilung. They are not. They are not the SA. They are not the SS. This is ridiculous.”

Abdul El-Sayed advocates for the abolition of ICE, comparing its behavior and normalization of violence to the Gestapo.

“I said we should abolish ICE. And I said that because all you had to do was connect the dots around what this agency was being told to do, how it was being weaponized”

The decision by ICE to stop paying for medical treatment is an attempt to cause harm to the people in their custody.

“This is about emiserating and in some cases killing the people that are in your custody. there there's no other way to see this.”

He believes that the public's strategy for holding ICE agents accountable should involve prioritizing the removal of their masks to facilitate identification.

“if I was to have an ask uh uh from a funding standpoint uh or really anything is to get rid of the masks because then this practice of like of holding them accountable at least. socially it would be much more effective.”

ICE agents are struggling with impossible quotas and a lack of proper institutional guidance, leading them to engage in deceptive practices to inflate their reported figures.

“they will all record one arrest as one arrest for each of the constituent parts of the of the task force. And in so doing, they're inflating the numbers by like orders of magnitude so that they can go to Washington.”

He believes that the current tactics of ICE agents, including the killing of a woman in Minnesota, are a strategic miscalculation that has only deepened the resolve of protesters.

“ICE kind of, uh, sees this miscalculation. uh they were uh uh you know hoping that uh what they were doing would lead to uh compliance and it hasn't and now they're kind of stuck >> because they've set the bar for their behavior.”

The administration and its supporters have shown a consistent unwillingness to take responsibility for the actions and outcomes involving ICE agents.

“I mean like I would say if there has been anything truly consistent in this administration, in this movement, it is the unwillingness to ever take responsibility for what you've done or any mistakes that you've made.”
