He prefers maintaining full creative control over his productions rather than working within the constraints of traditional television networks.

“the problem with that i feel like is that it gets a ton of other people that you don't want yeah like netflix we want this team on it you're like no we have our guys already we like them but they're like no well if you want to be on necklace so you have to use all of our people and you're like yeah ”

Dave Portnoy claims that reality television shows do not have to be faked if they involve genuinely eccentric people, but producers typically manipulate scenes for drama in other shows.

Josh Richards claims that reality television producers manipulate footage and edit scenes out of context to create manufactured drama.

“i'm a reality star professional you could say and a lot of people would say that and they [ __ ] just mess with you like they're gonna take clips put it in different areas that it wasn't even involved in they're going to take a line cut it up to make it sound like you're mad at someone”

She feels the production team's decision to focus her package on breast cancer was frustrating because it ignored the actual story she intended to convey through her dance.

“It had nothing to do with my breast cancer journey. The only thing breast cancer had to do with it was that breast cancer last year really showed me. Even though that wasn't like it wasn't a terminal illness for me, it what if it was?”
