“I I think that they're just like a figurehead and I think that like they're just like an example of like what English people are supposed to be”

Alastair Campbell believes King Charles has successfully grown into his role as monarch.

“I think King Charles had to put it mildly a pretty difficult act to follow with the queen and I think he's done it pretty amazingly well. I think it has given uh you know continued life to the monarchy and I think it's lovely to see him and Mark Carney”
