The Attitude Era was special because performers had the freedom to work and create moments without heavy scripting.

“Well, I I you had a lot of freedom. I I think I I I think that a lot 60 70% maybe even a higher ratio of the the guys going into the attitude era were coming off they were already in WWF at the time but they came out of territories so they knew how to work right”

He believes he had the privilege of being part of professional wrestling when the industry reached its peak level of popularity and energy.

“I was my career peaked at the peak of professional wrestling you know it was such a cool time with such a cool energy and such cool characters and um so I felt like I did everything that I ever wanted to do”
