He believes that success in the NBA is not clean and requires enduring significant struggles and persistent hard work to break through.

“although it wasn't clean, it wasn't like that's the thing people don't understand. It's it's never pretty. Like to to get out of the I was in the mud. I was in the mud. To get out of the mud, it's not pretty. It didn't happen overnight.”

“I think you got to, first of all, I'm very big on just staying through, you know, and working hard. uh not cutting corners, you know, just get in the gym, do your work, don't find excuses, you know, that's for not just the big guys, just for for all of us, for all the players, you know, just come in”

Chris Paul's longevity is a result of reinventing his approach to his health and his high basketball IQ.

“I I did not see this prime lasting for this long. >> No, I think he would I think he reinvented himself. You know what I mean? With his eating and kind of just his approach. Because the knock on him, unfortunately, I hope it you know, that's the old was he he would be kind of injury prone.”
