Diego Pavia believes he should win the Heisman Trophy based on his individual performance, total yardage, and his significant impact on turning the Vanderbilt football program around.

“I think that, you know, there's no there's no reason, this is off topic, but there's no reason that you watch the games and you don't think this guy's the most important player in college football. Like if you plug and play anybody else, him anywhere else, they're on in the same position we are.”

Cade McConnell claims Diego Pavia deserves the Heisman because he is the most important and best quarterback in college football despite the lack of brand recognition for his team.

“I think it's cuz uh he wears a gold V on his chest. I think the logo is number one. And I think that, you know, there's no there's no reason, this is off topic, but there's no reason that you watch the games and you don't think this guy's the most important player in college football.”
