Paul Bissonnette observes that ball hockey is physically demanding and challenging.

“This isn't street hockey. This is probably the most intense off ice playoff NHL, AHL hockey I've ever seen. Cross checks, hitting along the boards, butt ends, like it it's it's it's vicious.”

Keith Yandle asserts that ball hockey requires genuine skill and is not a game you can simply buy your way into winning.

“And I think that Hans is going to get a hard dose of reality along with wit that ball hockey is not an easy game. And you just can't buy your way to the top. You have to earn it.”
