Adam Mosseri believes that Instagram must take risks to evolve quickly even if it causes negative blowback to avoid becoming irrelevant.

“I would much rather look back at 5 10 years of working on the app and have a couple examples of where we pushed too hard or went too fast and it kind of um we got some blowback for it then the alternative which I see is primarily like you never upset anybody but you also didn't evolve fast enough”
