“the only thing people were doing other than like uploading videos of their cats or whatever is it was it was stationary webcam talking head like all framed like this people just talking that's what everyone was doing”

“there's just something that YouTube did that was so like seamless and like unobtrusive I think think it was the video player”

YouTube was revolutionary because it created a model where creators could upload videos without paying for bandwidth costs.

“I feel like people don't uh fully recognize like of course whenever something becomes normal and there's like like YouTube a lot of people complain about things on YouTube but if you really think about how revolutionary it was that they developed a model that allowed us to upload videos and not have”
