Pat McAfee argues that the Cincinnati Bengals were effectively forced to retain Trey Hendrickson due to their previous defensive struggles.

“I think the optics of it, you almost had to make this happen if you're the organization.”

The Cincinnati Bengals played their best defensive game in the last two years against the Baltimore Ravens.

“This is the best defensive game that I think I've seen the Bengals play this year.”

The Cincinnati Bengals' victory over the Baltimore Ravens was a result of superior play and effort.

“I told you what was going to happen. I told you. I DID. I TOLD HEY, listen to you. I told you and Butter BUTTER, YOUR ASS BETTER BE IN THE GODDAMN CHAT, TOO, BUTTER, CUZ YOU WAS TALKING ALL that trash about about uh we we got to play the Chiefs. We got to play the Bills.”

The Cincinnati Bengals are not dead for the season and should keep their key players.

“now, you know, it's three wins. You would hope Burrow gives back for the last eight of them. You know, maybe the last seven of them. 10 should get you in. It just it's shocking what the Bengals did.”

The team should look to strengthen the defensive side of the roster in the upcoming offseason.

“I'm definitely pushing, you know what I'm saying, to get something good for the defensive side. We just need something, of course, you know, somebody”

Re-signing with the Bengals was an easy decision because of a long-standing personal attachment to the team.

“I mean, I grew up a a Bengals fan, so um you know, the love has always been there. And you know, once I had the opportunity to sign that four-year deal, it was a no-brainer.”

The Cincinnati Bengals are notoriously slow starters in the NFL season.

“it's like the Bengals notoriously slow starters but we thought because Joey burrow had his first full training camp”

Andrew Whitworth believes he should likely retire as a Ram rather than a Bengal because of the deep investment he and his family made in the Los Angeles community.

“I think that we would probably be leaning to retiring as Rams just because of what it's become to our family and really what it's become to us”
