Discussing specific technical niche interests is a better podcast segment than typical interpersonal small talk.

“Your small talk, where you talk about specific things that you really are interested in and know a lot about is way more interesting than when Wade and I talk about our lives or any like human family stupid [ __ ]”

“Beaver milk. I think just it just sounds like a thing that would be good.”

Angie Sullivan finds making small talk with people she does not know to be a miserable and maddening experience.

“I have had it with small talk. There is nothing more miserable than having to make small talk with people that you don't know, that don't care about what you're saying, you don't care what you're saying. It is so miserable.”
