Piers Morgan believes that Eurovision should ideally remain apolitical but currently considers the contest to be an unpleasant waste of time.

“I think the whole thing’s a lot of crap I wouldn’t watch your a vision if you literally held a gun to my head”

James Barr expresses that Eurovision is a meaningful event for artists and production teams who have worked their entire lives to reach that stage.

“I keep thinking of all the artists delegations production and people working by the scenes who spent their lives building up to this in this moment only to be thrown to the walles by the Ebu not taking appropriate action”
