Building a new, multi-purpose studio space is a strategic investment in content creation that allows for more advanced production and diverse project types.

“So we have one studio right here that were shooting flare into it right now we have a set for another special for another project that I'm gonna have coming out in the new year I'll tell you guys more about that in the future we got another generic podcast studio in the back”

The transition to a new office studio environment is an improvement over recording at their homes.

“We have a new set. Um we have finally moved out of our home. We we are we were just so sick of having the podcast either live in Heath's house or my house.”

She believes that the podcast's move to a more professional setting and equipment is a positive improvement over previous arrangements.

“so different from the last place it's professional i like the legit cameras now instead of the gopros on vacuums if i know that [ __ ] was trash dude this is tight i like it”

He claims that his podcast production and the associated infrastructure, such as sound engineering and video quality, are essential components of the success of the content he produces with guests.

“It's the platform. It's the 6 and a half million subscribers that took me 20 years to build up. It's the lighting. It's my camera crew that I pay top dollar to to create this type of environment. It's my sound guy that cleans up the sound. It's the promotion engine behind what we do.”

He believes having a dedicated, permanent studio space would improve the podcast's quality and consistency.

“to have something that you could have like on the regular that we could just fire out podcasts regularly and not have to worry about you know jeopardizing the quality of it”

Joe Rogan believes that the hosts have over-complicated the podcast format by adding unnecessary elements like stage lighting and scripted segments.

“you guys have over complicated the podcast you had a good thing going on what's up what's up you guys had a a [ __ ] normal Simple Thing be like no no we need wireless mics we need introductions we need 10 minutes of silence before we go so we can get dead air time”

The most productive or high-quality phase of the show occurred during the time they recorded at their Manetta Lane apartment.

“And can I say, and feel free to push back here, fellas, I think Manetta, that was our best work. Now we're cooking. Obviously, right now is always the best, but Manetta was when we really leveled up, I think.”

A show environment that is too sterile or feels like a corporate studio setting negatively impacts the quality of the show.

“That was tough. And it was too sterile and studioy and it was somebody else's. That one stunk.”

Joey Diaz believes an office space for a podcast should reflect the nature of the work performed there and provide an environment that allows for freedom to smoke and play music.

“You want to get an office that reflects what the [ __ ] you're doing. Exactly what we're doing up there. >> Yeah. >> That office, thanks to George, reflects what we're doing on a daily basis. But that's why I didn't want to We needed something that we had an outside. >> Yeah. So we could smoke weed ”

The show intentionally maintains a slightly lower production quality to avoid competing with or encroaching on the host's main channel space.

“Which is why we always will commit to making this show a little bit shitty >> on purpose.”
