Using the Department of Justice as a tool for political retribution is detrimental to the institution, regardless of which party is doing it.

“For America, it is not in fact a very good thing for the DOJ to be widely perceived and indeed used as a political tool.”

The Trump administration's attacks on federal judges are unprecedented and dangerous for the judicial system.

“I've never seen Again, this is just so unprecedented. You don't attack judges. You don't go out and especially if you're one of especially if you have the microphone that Donald Trump has, right? Nobody does that. He invented this.”

The Trump administration is intentionally dismantling the Justice Department to replace the rule of law with a system of corruption and rigged accountability.

“I think she there there's an intentional uh desire by the Trump regime to take the DOJ and turn it upside down where people don't know how for it to f for it to function.”

She argues that the American legal system should not be a tool for selective prosecution and that laws must apply to everyone equally.

“you don't want somebody just saying oh i know he's guilty because you need to have standards of evidence and you need to actually have laws that apply to everybody and and when i said big caveats obviously we're in this horrible place right now where the laws don't apply equally to everybody”

Shawn Ryan believes Don Bradley is innocent and that his treatment by the Monroe County Sheriff's Department was unacceptable.

Allison Gill criticizes the current appointments process, arguing that the dismissal of cases like the Comey indictment reflects failures in proper legal appointment procedures.

And because the only remedy for unlawfully appointing a US attorney is to dismiss the charges like they did in the classified documents case when Judge Eileen Cannon found Jack Smith was unlawfully appoint”

He believes federal prosecutors will fail to secure a conviction against Don Lemon and the church protesters because their actions do not meet the legal standard for a federal crime.

He asserts that Don Lemon and other protesters committed federal crimes under the FACE Act and the KKK Act by intentionally disrupting a church service.
