He advocates that while an agency to address criminal immigration is necessary, the current iteration of ICE is immoral and the agency has lost public trust due to its conduct.

“We can call them ICE, we can call them water, we can call them uh gas, we can call them anything we like, but you need somebody to pick those people up. And so that doesn't mean that they have to do it in this disgusting immoral uh way that they're doing it today.”

She argues that the current tactics used by ICE are abusive and dangerous, creating an environment where individuals are profiled and harassed regardless of their citizenship status.

“I don't want to live in a country where you have militarized federal agents roaming the streets and harassing people like this, right? Especially uh as they're just going about their day or as they're at work. It's ridiculous.”
