Writing her book was the hardest thing she has ever done, but it was necessary to speak out against harmful teachings.

She views writing her book as a way to reclaim her narrative and truth, despite the pressure and scrutiny from people who have wronged her.

“I'm no longer close with it was very much like a I don't know like just an interesting catch-up situation and just kind of reflecting on eras of life and even this person was kind of like so are you going to write about this or you are you are you going to talk about this and it's like and then you ”

Louis C.K. believes that novels are a medium where he can deeply explore the emotional reality of his characters without the pressures or constraints of producing a commercial product.

“And then I got into uh fiction like writing short stories again. And also uh I had a big uh change in my life of getting rid of a lot of distraction and kind of calming my spirit down which actually worked.”

Ettore Ewen wrote his memoir to provide a story of hope for others struggling with mental health issues, rather than for personal accolades.

“So I just really wanted to write a story of hope for for other people who are struggling.”

She believes that writing the book in the first person was necessary to provide a relatable human element and convey the vulnerability and self-awareness inherent in their experiences.

“I really want to give readers a perspective of someone who has struggled with money in various ways throughout my life and in our relationship before and during our relationship and we really wanted to bring that human element to this, uh the vulnerability and the self-awareness and that came from w”

The author aims to make his second book significantly better than his previous one.

“and that's what I discussed with the editorial team is that I want the next book to be substantially better than the last one was hopefully I can manage that”

Media exposure from television appearances does not necessarily result in a significant increase in book sales.

“the truth is I've been on I I've been on a bunch of shows I didn't not notice any more books being sold right if anything I that's hard yeah right if anything maybe I sold an extra 20 50 like it wasn't so much that I could clearly see like oh wow there was a huge Spike there wasn't”

Self-publishing provides a viable pathway for authors to get their work out and generate income.

“you learned that you could publish this yourself you know put up on Amazon and do it yourself and there's some money to be made doing this”

The publisher required the book to be cut down significantly from the original draft to ensure it remained profitable.

“They they they uh gave me a a words per page count to aim for, but they said 600 pages, that's it, cuz otherwise we lose money on this book. And so I turned it in according to their formula at the right length and they said, "No, you you got to cut another 150 pages."”
