Hasan Piker claims Jordan Peterson engages in climate change denial by downplaying environmental risks and shifting blame to the public to shield the oil and gas industry.

“he's reducing the way to combat climate change back to individual responsibility by claiming that the only way to defeat climate change anthropogenic climate change is by stopping you from like eating burgers or whatever he's not directly saying it but that's what he's basically pointing to”

The denial of climate change poses a significant threat to the United States' standing in global scientific leadership.

“and you have the big thing that's going to affect everybody on Earth is the denial of climate change now is my perception incorrect am I misperceived do we have uh statistics to back up my claim”
