Donald Trump is politicizing the Justice Department to target his enemies while protecting his allies.

“this is the saying, "No, that's it. We're now in the United States of America. We're targeting political enemies and saying prosecute them. Also, do not prosecute the guilty if they're in my party." That is as unamerican as it gets.”

Donald Trump's directive to the DOJ is an attempt to weaponize the department for his own protection.

“this is a core threat to our democracy. That's what it boils down to. beyond everything at the surface. He's weaponizing the Justice Department to zero in and target his political enemies.”
