Luke finds attending CES as an attendee to be an enjoyable experience, though he finds covering the event as press to be exhausting.

“i think i would really enjoy attending it as just an attendee like if i just could stealthily like you know just walk around on the show floor no one knows who i am just kind of kind of look at stuff and just take it in but covering it is so exhausting i just i did it for years”

The current show floor at CES feels sadder and less focused on consumer electronics compared to previous years because companies are increasingly using private spaces for their announcements.

“All of the stuff on the show floor is sadder than it was before uh in like very meaningful ways. And then we're going to talk about just the enormous amount of components you can buy on the show floor. Like just acres of lenses and actuators as far as the eye can see. And it's very much the consumer”
