James Harrison believes that athletes should begin playing contact football at a young age to develop the necessary skills to safely give and take hits.

“I want you to know how to give a hit, take a hit, because if you go out there, you know, people that want to hold their kids back until, you know, 13, 14, 15 years old, high school and all that, and then they get out there and he's running down the field and he, you know, he head high and he goes to”

Lavonte David believes he was unfairly overlooked for All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors due to his position being compared to pass-rushing edge players.

“I seen the allp pro thing came out the other day, you know, um, you know, they only have like two true linebackers up for all pro and they have like edges. They got like five edge guys. So I'm like, come on, man. That's not really fair to the linebacker position.”
