Vikram Barn believes that being blindfolded while waiting for something to happen is difficult because he cannot prepare for it.

“Yeah, the blindfold's really throwing a spanner in the works here. 'Cause I can't prepare for it now.”

He believes that excessive hydration is a viable strategy for winning the competition despite the physical discomfort it causes.

“I've been drinking three litres of water every day for the last like 10 days. I have been peeing a lot so maybe I've like made my body, anyway, excuses don't mean anything. But man, I've never not been able to stand up with like needing to go to the toilet. That must've been dangerous.”

S-X believes that a dancer has an inherent physical advantage in an endurance challenge that requires standing for long periods.

“But I'm actually a dancer, so I can stand for ages.”
