Timothy DeLaGhetto believes that the early success of Asian creators on YouTube was driven by a lack of Asian representation in traditional film and television.

“I feel like that's mainly because Asian people never really had anybody representing us on TV or movies you know I'm saying so when they saw people coming out on YouTube like doing funny [ __ ] or like doing rap [ __ ] or doing any music things they were like wow finally somebody Asian that like loo”

There is a need to find a balance between Asian discipline and a healthier, more confident approach to raising children.

“That's so true. You got to find the happy medium. I'll go to happy delusion.”

Asian culture can be overly critical and damaging to a child's confidence.

“In a sense, I kind of want to bring up my kid in in this culture because in Asian culture, they [ __ ] destroy your confidence.”
