Kyle confirms that he lost irreplaceable data like family and pet photos because they were not backed up in time before the fire.

“I did lose some data. Yeah, I had a lot of it backed up in the cloud, but there were a couple items that uh I was unable to manually back up in time and that was kind of a bummer. Just like family photos, photos of, you know, me and the girlfriend, the cats, um just, you know, stuff that's irreplace”

The host claims that having a 321 backup strategy ensures at least one copy of data is kept offsite in case of a disaster.

“You should have at least three copies of any critical data across two different mediums, and one of them should be offsite in a separate location.”

A disaster of this scale will inevitably spawn new, profitable industries focused on fire-resistant construction and property protection.

“I just know what what ends up happening is an industry will come out of a a disaster of this magnitude”
