The United States should have never entered the war in the Middle East, and the memorandum of understanding represents a logical approach to save face and focus on domestic economic issues.

“I was not at the at the White House when the Iran nuclear deal got done but I wish I had been because it it was a historic achievement and it worked.”

“it seems like like that would drag the United States into a conflict that would be more more deadly, more dangerous and last longer and be more expensive most likely than what happened in Iraq.”

The United States should prioritize diplomacy and Congressional authorization before considering military action against Iran.

“it is our duty, you know, to declare war and we need to know, you know, the time like the length of time as to what the commitment would be.”

Military intervention in Iran would be a dangerous and costly mistake compared to utilizing diplomacy.

“If the goal is to make sure that Iran does not have a nuclear weapon, as people in both parties have said, but if that's the goal, your choice is diplomacy to have a deal with Iran to allow them to have civilian nuclear power but not a nuclear weapon”
