Brian Shapiro claims that Dan Bongino was not telling the truth about his conspiracy theories while he was a podcaster, but is now forced to tell the truth as an employee of the FBI.

“He said, "Listen, it's my job now to tell the truth." That's what he said. "I'm working for the FBI. It's my job to tell the truth." But back then, I was getting paid for my opinions. So what that means to me is I was getting paid to spew conspiracy theories with no factual basis behind it.”
