The United States should adopt a Medicare for all single-payer healthcare system to replace the current system that prioritizes corporate profits.

He believes the federal government should implement Medicare for All to build public trust in healthcare and prevent people from going into debt.

“So, one of the big reasons as a public health official I'm so passionate about Medicare for all is because if we want people to trust health and healthare, it can't feel like they're getting their pocket picked every day.”

He agrees with the goal of providing free healthcare.

“I think we should tax the billionaires until they are not billionaires. >> Okay, that's I mean I agree with you.”

The Affordable Care Act is inherently flawed because it relies on private insurance industry middlemen and requires a single-payer replacement to be effective.

“I mean, we're the ones who are called unrealistic. It's bit us in the ass in like one of the most catastrophic ways. I mean, historical ways over the past decade and a half that we made this uh bargain with these this private industry, which we all know does shouldn't exist.”

He believes the United States should implement a universal healthcare system rather than rely on the Affordable Care Act.

“the overall healthcare system is a debacle. every other developed nation has universal health care. They don't let people die in the streets because they couldn't afford insurance.”

The FDA can utilize market incentives, such as priority review vouchers, to encourage pharmaceutical companies to lower drug prices.

“We're using market incentives essentially to create incentives for companies to lower their prices.”

Price transparency in healthcare will enable patient shopping and generate significant savings for the economy.

“you just had price transparency across the healthcare system, you'd save a trillion with a t trillion dollar back into our economy.”

Healthcare policy should shift from a prescription-focused, reactive model to a proactive, personalized, and patient-centered cash pay system.

“The only way to do that is to get proactive and predictive and personalized. And this entire ecosystem is just not built to do that. And so my my message and what I'm trying to work for is so much bigger than peptides.”

He advocates for replacing Medicare and Medicaid with a means-tested voucher system to increase market competition and reduce government spending.

“My alternative then is to radically move government outside of the healthcare market and to replace Medicare and Medicaid with means-ested health spending vouchers.”

Government healthcare funding should be directed as subsidies to individuals rather than to health insurance companies.

“And I'm calling today for insurance companies not to be paid, but for the money, this massive amount of money to be paid directly to the people of our country so that they can buy their own healthcare, which will be far better and far less expensive than the disaster known as Obamacare.”
