Kevin Durant believes the primary focus for young players entering the league should be on their professional development and basketball performance rather than off-court distractions.

“I just try to tell dudes to focus on the main thing. We hooping all that [ __ ] off the court. What you got in your in your household, you going to your family going to figure that out. Y'all going to have to figure that out. But if you focus on the main thing, you focus on you.”

He believes the NBA Hall of Fame organizations fail to properly honor and include their own former championship players.

“I don't be understanding a lot of times with these organizations and they ain't hold up NBA. I ain't got no I ain't got no problem with nobody, but it's just real questions like how we don't honor our legends that paved the way.”

A winning NBA culture is built on selflessness where everyone treats each other as equals regardless of hierarchy.

“There's no like hierarchy in the like there's no like cast system. It's all like everyone's treated the same like Shay's expected to like tuck his shirt in practice just like you know Brooks Barnheiser is like and I think that's you know is from top to bottom through the through the organization”

Baron Davis claims the Clippers' organization under Donald Sterling was characterized by profound dysfunction, lack of care for employees, and a culture of backstabbing.

“The Clippers there was no care. Everybody was there telling on each other, snitching on each other, backstabbing people. And the people who were actually honest and working and hardworking that were scared and terrified, they had they had nowhere to go.”

Stephen Jackson believes the NBA manipulated the narrative and punished him unfairly to enforce a specific image of the league and implement a new dress code.
