He believes the government should adopt an 'eyes on, hands-off' approach to uncontacted tribes to protect them from both human threats and the loss of their lands.

“I'd say there absolutely needs to be protections and laws and and consequences for those that break them because otherwise there was no rules or laws protecting them they're all gone they're all going to be gone”

She argues that while protecting indigenous lands is essential, maintaining surveillance of these groups is necessary to prove their existence and prevent governmental denial of their rights.

“I think the only way to really stop that or to prove that they are there is by going in and getting proof”
