To address major city crises, the mayor must build political will in Albany to pass necessary legislation and secure funding.

“New York City continues to be a creature of the state. New York City, if you have an ambition for the city that matches the scale of the crisis, you have to have an Albany agenda.”

He believes Zohran Mamdani's political rise in NYC is driven by the student debt crisis.

“Isn't it just everybody with like $200,000 of student loans? Like, isn't that Exactly. Right. That's really what this comes out.”

Zohran Mamdani is an incompetent mayor who is working to destroy New York City and America.

“Zorhan Mam Dami, the communist jihadi mayor of New York City from Uganda uh who has never accomplished anything in his life other than the beginning of the implosion of the once greatest city in the world.”

Miles Media argues that support for Zohran Mamdani in New York is largely driven by a symbolic rejection of MAGA and the desire to aggravate Trump supporters.

“Symbolically he represents everything the MAGA hates. So I think there's a lot of people that are like yeah the buses are cool d it feels like it's symbolically helping like the poor working class but more so it's like [ __ ] Trump.”

He believes the city's new leadership will cause a population increase of those who favor the new administration's policies while potentially causing economic decline.

“So, guess what? To all the people that said nobody will leave New York City, it's about who's coming to New York City. You're welcome. And they're going to come in a bunches.”

He believes the victory of a socialist mayoral candidate is divisive and does not represent a mandate from the city's residents.

“Well, first of all, when you look at the numbers, pretty good chance that he would not have won if let's just say it was either Siwa or Cuomo had backed out. So that's one. So I'm not I'm not so sure this is a a mandate that uh that New York City totally got behind and wanted.”

He claims the election outcome will drive away job creators and attract demographics that will lead to the deterioration of the city.

“So, this is going to drive job creators out and uh bring in the worst types of people. So, yeah, it's going to look like Gotham City and I hope that they could survive long enough for people to learn how to actually um who to vote for, what kind of policies they should have.”

He perceives the mayor's victory speech and rhetoric as authoritarian and inherently divisive.

“This is authoritarian speech. This is this is the kind of call and response. It's a dog dog whistle back to the kind of the Mussolini days and the kind of things that he promised to the people there.”
