The prospect of World War III is increasingly likely given the current global geopolitical climate.

A crisis over Taiwan is almost inevitable, and the only way to minimize the risk is through a strong democratic alliance united against Beijing.

“so I think that it is almost inevitable that there will be a crisis over Taiwan in the next few years the only way to possibly avoid it uh and certainly bring it to um the least unsatisfactory outcome is for the Beijing leadership to clearly understand that there is a strong Democratic Alliance rang”

He views an escalation between China and Taiwan as a major threat that will significantly alter global life.
