“So, um, that was when I first started to realize that we took 9/11 so deeply personally that the law meant nothing anymore. You know, if you want to torture people, you and I can agree to disagree, but if you want to torture people, you got to change the law because the law's clear.”

“I don't think he's dead. I think he's running camps in Afghanistan now.”

“I thought I knew why terrorists became terrorist and boy was wrong I mean I find when I interview people that a lot of times like their their upbringing will kind of guide their career path”

“We used to bomb the camps so Americans don't understand that those attacks didn't happen here because you and I were overseas is stopping them right and so they're like yeah it's fine and the downplay it's like we've been saving you for 20 years nobody's doing it anymore so you better learn to save ”
