She believes that moving to New York City for a year will help her personal growth.

“It recently just moved to like $3, which is I think freaking crazy.”

She considers the fact that the New York City subway system never closes to be noteworthy.

“Did you guys know the New York City subway never closes? It runs 24 hours, 7 days a week for the whole year.”

Living in New York City provides a level of socioeconomic and cultural diversity that is beneficial, especially for children.

“there's a homogeny here there's a socioeconomic diversity a racial diversity like an ethnic diversity there's that richness I think comes with tremend uh tremendous benefit for especially for kids”

Sam feels New York City creates a constant state of personal irritation while simultaneously being a place he remains grateful to live in.

“this city is a constant state of irritation but then like sometimes I think sometimes I think life is that way but then maybe it's just cuz I'm a New Yorker but I travel so much for work that like you know I'm an airport after airport so travel is is a constant state of irritation I'm always frustra”

Living and performing in New York City has improved the speaker's overall energy and appreciation for an active lifestyle.

“I don't know. Like I I was worried and I am I know I'm like four months postpartum, but I was worried that I would never get like my energy back because three pregnancies. And I mean I did go on a tour, but that's like work, but energy to like live life and like be with the kids.”

Colin Quinn characterizes his childhood neighborhood of Park Slope in the 1970s as a wild place where daily life included playing various street games.

“it was a pretty wild neighborhood it was almost like there was something very magic about it I have to admit but it it was it got wild there was a lot going on in Park Slope”
